Stout Rounded Obvara Vase
This vase was fired using the obvara Raku method. The obvara solution is made from fermented yeast, flour, water and sugar. The pots are exposed to the solution at around 1600 degrees and it produces wonderfully unpredictable patterns!
This is not a water tight vase and is meant for decorative purposes only. This piece measure 5” in height by 6” in diameter.
