Stormy Bronze & Blue Tumblers
This pair of stormy tumblers have a wonderful dark blue and bronze coloring to their exterior which lightly gradates through their dramatic hues. In addition to their subtle yet striking glaze they are both very lightweight and have a comfortable feel in the hand!
These tumblers measure around 3.5 inches in height (one just under and the other just above) and they are both just under 3 inches in diameter.
They are all food/microwave safe as well! Since they are not glazed on the bottom if these were put in the dishwasher, dishwasher detergent could soak into the exposed clay and over a period of time they would begin to discolor. However, this does not compromise the food safety of these pieces, that would just be an aesthetic embellishment.
*NOTE* The smaller cup of the two has a very small bentonite deposit on the exterior (see close up photo), which is hardly noticeable. Bentonite is a naturally occurring substance present in glazes and occasionally it can clump together forming, what looks like, a tiny rock. It is almost imperceptible and poses absolutely no issue to the functionality of this cup. However, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me!
