Hello! I’m Doug, the heart and hands behind Fifth Season Studio. My journey into pottery began in 2018 when I first felt the pull of clay and the endless possibilities it offered. In 2020, I took the leap, moving from New York to the East Bay in California, to establish my own studio.
At Fifth Season Studio, every piece is a testament to the artisanal spirit, hand-thrown or hand-built. My creations are inspired by the untamed beauty of nature, which is also the muse behind our name. The ‘Fifth Season’ represents the extraordinary moments that transcend the usual four, much like the unique character of each piece I craft.
